PGW’s featured artist for the month of August is Victoria Akulova, a watercolor artist based in Moscow. Her artworks reveal two main themes for — ancient mythology and Biblical stories. They are different, but at the same time they are also have intertwining points — stores about the Gods whom we have never seen but known from books.
She has participated and won several awards in international exhibits in France, China, and Poland; and is a sought after instructor in watercolor workshops. She is currently a member of the International Masters of Watercolour Alliance (IMWA).
